Truffle Love!

There are basically two types of truffles: the fungi called truffles (they come in two colors the black truffle and the white one) and the chocolate truffles, a culinary product made of chocolate. We are going to discuss first about the black and white truffles, so the fungi which are considered aphrodisiacs and then about the chocolate truffles and if and how they can increase one’s sex drive. Mostly, both types of truffles can in some way increase one’s libido but it is interesting to find out the reasons why and also, what is different between the two types of truffles.

The fungi truffles are both considered aphrodisiacs since the legendary ancient Rome. The secret of these truffles is that they have a musky scent that tends to replicate the scent of the male pheromones. However, this theory is not scientifically proved or at least not yet. People got interested in this type of fungus once they have noticed the interest that female pigs seem to develop when it comes to them. The white truffle is not as rare as the black one and so people started using it in different ways. There is the white truffle oil which is whatsoever intended to replicate the scent of true truffles. Since truffles are rare and of course expensive, the white truffle oil can be an option if you want to try out the theory and prove it right, or wrong. Some would say that truffles “make women more tender and men more amiable”.

The chocolate truffle on the other hand is a culinary product made with a chocolate ganache center which is coated in cocoa powder. The chocolate lovers can find them with different sort of fillings such as cream, caramel, nuts, mint or liquor. The one think they have in common with the truffle (fungus) is their appearance. When it comes to the qualities of a chocolate truffle of increasing the libido, we must agree that the chocolate gives it this power. Thus, the other thing that both types of truffles have in common is that they are considered aphrodisiacs, both welcomed in the bedroom. Of course, the main difference is the price. Whereas the truffle fungus is unaffordable for many of us, some would rather include the chocolate dessert to their foreplay.

Both truffles can be used as sex boosters but from different reasons. Whereas the fungi seem to have natural substances to increase the libido, the truffles made of chocolate are considered aphrodisiacs due to the substances found in chocolate. It is believed that one of the substances existent in chocolate can stimulate the production of endorphins.

The black truffle may be an aphrodisiac but it is also a rare and expensive product.
